I rinse out then moisturize while wet with coconut oil on hair and scalp (about 1 Tablespoon) This has made my locks sooooo soft and clean. I do this once a week. During the week I moisturize with a plain water spritzer that contains 3 drops of rosemary oil and 3 drops of lavender oil in water. Most people add tea tree oil too, but I'm allergic to this. By the way, Coconut oil is great because it is an anti-fungal/anti-bacteria oil that does not spoil like other oils. Also, it melts to the touch and stays in liquid form on the scalp because of body temperature. My scalp loooves it! Check out earthclinic.com for its many uses.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3021038164876668328.post-39468329947786168232009-03-04T10:52:00.000-08:002009-03-04T10:52:00.000-08:00I think that conditioner at any stage of loc'i...I think that conditioner at any stage of loc'ing is going to be good for keeping both your scalp and hair moisturized. The key is to avoid all conditioners that are thick to the touch, are white or creamy, and if they have a lot of chemicals in the ingredients (there a few conditioners out there that have all natural ingredients).

I use IC Leave In Hair & Scalp Treatment. IC Leave In Conditioner is great because it's not a heavy product. And because it is a light liquid, it will help to moisturize your loc's without damaging them, leave build up, or causing them to unravel.

I also recommend talking to your loctician. Or going to a local natural hair stylist and asking their opinion as well.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15358587477853108371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3021038164876668328.post-89484639252346243502009-03-03T19:13:00.000-08:002009-03-03T19:13:00.000-08:00would you suggest using conditioner on baby locs a...would you suggest using conditioner on baby locs as well?NneomaMDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03116013790446026291noreply@blogger.com
