"Petroleum jelly is a byproduct of oil drilling, and when you spread it on your lips, you end up eating it, which is essentially the same as drinking gasoline. Add up the amount of lip-gloss the average woman uses (and consumes) over a decade, and it equals 7 pounds. The European Union has banned many petroleum jelly products, and experts are concerned they could be linked to cancer. Women with breast cancer have twice the levels of hydrocarbons (substances found in petroleum jelly) in their breasts than women who haven’t had breast cancer." - Source: Dr. Oz The Top Three Dangers In Your Beauty ProductsGreat USE's WAXELENE FOR:

ReplyDeleteWow! I never know..I use vaseline for my lip or burn skin. Omg! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. I've never heard of this product, but it sounds like a viable alternative.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone tried it? I peeped the ingredients and it uses beeswax which, to me, seems like it'd be just as heavy as Vaseline.
I have been using it for about a week and love it. It cleared up some dry eczema spots I had on my eyelids. I tried all kinds of medicinces, creams and lotions and nothing worked. the Waxelene cleared it up in 4 days. Totally honest. Not getting paid to tell you that at all. I am definitely going to continue using the product. It is helping to add moisture to my skin and keeping the dryness away from my eyelids and other parts of my face. I plan to try it on my elbows too.
ReplyDeleteWow!! I knew vaseline, and other things were byproducts of gasoline, but I never thought of all these negative effects!!! Def will be looking into the waxelene, and making changes! Thanks for the info :)
