Email Lost - Feature Request

Just came back from a long weekend trip.  I received an email request from a young lady who wanted to be featured on the blog. I did not have a chance to respond last week, because I was packing for my trip. Today, being my first day back, I went to check my email to respond, and I can not find the email.

So I hope the young lady see's this post. You have lots of hair, you are on Fotki, and you shaved one side of you hair for something fun to-do.  Resend the email when you can. I want to feature you on the blog this week if possible.  I rarely 'lose' an email... lol. So not sure what happened.  Thanks everyone!

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue

My co-worker wore this perfume to work one day, and I immediately loved it. I don't ever wear perfume because of allergies, but this one is impressive. It literally made me fell like I was getting a breath of fresh air. Maybe if I hint around, I may be able to get this for Mothers Day... :-). But I will be just as happy with hugs and kisses!

Butterfly card from Carols Daughter

Mothers Day is coming up, and Carol's Daughter put together a cute butterfly card generator. Minus all the ad's that come along with the email notice to your Mom, its a great idea. One way to send the card to your mom with out the ads is to send the card to yourself, get the link and email the link directly to your Mom. Check out the card from Jada Pinkett in the above picture.

Totally Random....

Ok.... so I am so happy. It's funny how sometimes the smallest things can make you smile. I have been wearing the same broke down glasses for like 2 years now. Much longer than that! But the last 2 years have been the worst because my glasses were basically falling apart. I was working from home for a year or two, so my insurance was basically non-existent. But things have been better lately. So I finally took the plunge and brought 2 pairs of new glasses. What do you think? This is the first time I have ever gotten square frames, but I kind of like it. I am hoping that I have that sexy librarian look going on... lol.

Ok ok.... so I am a big nerd. But a cool nerd... right?!? Maybe even a little très nerdy chic?  He he.. one can only hope! Happy Thursday everyone.

This is so off topic. But I am so excited!! I have my very own office for the first time.

For my folks on Facebook, sorry for the repeat of info... lol. Last year, I was working from home. But that project came to an end. So now, I am back to the nine to five. I am really enjoying my new job - and hope that I will stay with this company for a long time. Anyway - absolutely nothing to do with Naturally Beautiful Hair. But I am really happy about having a little space to call my own. I am glowing from the inside out. And hoping that I am not jinxing myself right now. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I will have a long and successful career with my current company. Have a good weekend everyone!

Fabulous at 35!

I turn 35 years old today. Happy Birthday to me... ;-). Yes I am getting old(er)... lol. But age is just a number.

High on my wish list?? Shoes and flowers of course!

But really - I am just grateful to have my family. That we are all healthy and strong. Here's to another year celebrating being a wife, mom, artist & strong woman. Cheers!
