Braided Updo

I washed and braided my hair last week, and wanted the crinkled look. But I wanted to keep my braids in for a while so that my end result style would last longer. Because I had a ton of career related things coming up, I had to figure out how to keep my braids in, but still look professional.  So I sat in the mirror and just started twisting and pinning down my braided loc's. And this is what I came up with. I think it came out well. So here is a cool way to wear your loc's if you want to keep them braided for while.

  6. You did a fabulous job on the updo! I can't wait for my hair to reach past my shoulder. Seems that all the updos that I like, my locks aren't long enough.

  8. You and your hair are beautiful. Glad to run into another sis who has a similar thickness in hair as myself. I rock my dread-locs in braids too;Warrior Princess Z is actually wearing the braid style now, thinking about doing this updo on her. I am going to try this look the next time. My hair is to my backside, oh the time this will take. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
