Rocking an Afro!

I saw this young lady walking down the streets of Downtown Berkeley rocking this gorgeous, big afro today and had to take a picture. This picture doesn't do it justice. It looked really great on her. This is one trend that I am happy to see come back. Love it!

    I love the Afro, wish I could rock an Afro and locks, so sad I have to chose

    I agree! It would be awesome if we could rock and afro one day and still have our dreads the next...lol. One can only dream.

    Acceptance is very hard to come by in a family where you are diffenert because of your hair.I look like everyone else in my family but I don't have what my family and people in this area call good hair, soft and wavy or curly.My hair has always been thick and nappy.As a child my grandmother would not let me leave the house until she pressed it out.I was called the ugly head.I hated my hair and permed it in the past.People still think the same way but Grandma's day is over and I'm free me and my afro.
