Meet Chrisandra: The Miss Plus Caribbean Universe Pageant will take place in Wildey,
Barbados on August 19, 2012 at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium. Pageant
contestants qualified to compete by being a winner of a plus size
beauty pageant in their respective countries. Approximately 15 beauty
queens from the Caribbean islands, Brazil and the United States. The
categories of competition will be Swimsuit, Evening Gown, National
Costume, Talent and Interview.
I am the only contestant competing with natural hair and feel very
honored to have the chance to compete. Celebrity natural hairstylist
and Natural Hair Oscar recipient Thando Kafele will be styling my locs.
