Easiet Style Ever...

One of my favorite hair styles is a really easy hair do. Most of you already know how to do this. I like it several reasons, some being that it gives my hair volume and it feels more lightweight when my loc's have a curl or wave to them.

To create this look - wash, wet or spritz your hair. Be sure to use some sort of leave in conditioner or setting spray when wetting your hair. Braid your hair in sections (I like to braid 6 loc's at a time) . The bigger the braid, the bigger the crinkle/wave. The smaller the braid, the smaller the crinkle/wave will be. I like to let my hair air dry, but if you have a salon style hood hair dry at home, you can dry your loc's using this. Once your hair is completely dry, take the braids down. This crinkle/wavy style will last over a month or until you get your hair wet again. The great thing about this style is great wavy look.

  1. Suuuuuuuuuuuuper cute. I've want to do the side-swept style (with two-strand twists) when my hair gets a little longer.

By the way, how long have you been growing your locs?

  6. Thank you Phephi. What a great compliment! I really appreciate it. I have been growing my hair for over 5 years. I have had a fantastic journey. Lots of ups and downs, but all worth it. I hope that you will continue to check out my blog and let me know what you think.

  7. Thank you for your information on your site. I have a question about gray locks. My locks are now 3 years + and past my shoulders. They appear to be a litte more of a challange to maintain as the new growth in the front is where the gray grows in. Some of the areas are softer than other and do not lock or thin out. My locs seem somewhat dry. Do you have any advice for women with gray locks>\?

  8. Hi Glama,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately I don't know much about how the hair changes as it grays. Have you tried to research it online? If you have any luck with finding information on this subject, please let us know so that I can share it with everyone. Thank you.
