Imani by Linda Murray

This doll is called Imani by Linda Murray. I love the details, down to the cute ponytails. The other dolls of the collection are called Jada and Joshua.

  4. I remember when i was a child i had one similar in quality called Angelina with much darker skin. My mother only let me have a couple of hours to play with her every now and then, and back in the store it went.

Why??? Who the hell knows??....still cant figure that one out. Anyway needless to say it survived my childhood years in West Africa and she sent it to my niece who lives in the US.

Mental note 'must ask Keema if by any chance at all she still as the doll.' We're talking over 38 years ago....OMG! I cant believe i just typed that out for the whole world to read!!!! yikes am getting on a bit.

Anyway, yes they are lovely little dolls, though Jada and Joshua SCARE me a little. lol
